PROCUREMENT OF OPTIC FIBRE CABLE & INSTALLATION EQUIPMENT
Fiji Electricity Authority (fea) is a statutory body vested with the responsibility for the provision of electricity supply throughout the Fiji Islands.
The objective is to find a reputable firm to supply Optic Fibre Cable and associated Installation equipment at the following locations:

1) From Kinoya Substation to Sawani Substation

2) From Waqadra Substation to Qeleloa

The Optic Fibre installation at these locations is critical to ensure remote control of existing substations and proposed new substations. The fibre connectivity in addition to providing fast data transfer, will ensure control of substations from our National Control Centre (NCC) in Vuda. Furthermore, it will allow the flexibility of using advance protection schemes where point to point fast data transfer is required.
